Excellent Performance for my daily Needs, October 21, 2011 By This review is from: Toshiba Satellite C675-S7200 Refurbished Laptop Computer - Intel Pentium Dual-Core B940 2.0GHz, 4GB DDR3, 320GB HDD, DVDRW, 17.3" Display, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, Black (Electronics) When I was in the market for a Laptop, I wanted one that was modern, fast, and under $500. This Toshiba was a perfect fit. My uses range from web browsing to HD Video Streaming/Playback.
This computer is snappy; browsing the web is as smooth as silk, including flash/java gaming, HD video streaming, and HTML5. I haven't had any performance issues in these fields.
It handles HD Video Playback incredibly well. I can watch full HD X264 1080p videos flawlessly. I can also stream videos in 720p/1080p on sites like YouTube and Hulu without any lag.
The display 17.3" display is huge in a very good way. The screen is much better than most LCD monitors I've worked on. At a large 1600x900 resolution you have a lot of room to move windows around.
I don't play many PC games with the exception of Minecraft, which the PC can run although not well. You have to put the graphics on "Fast", and lower the render distance for it to run with minimal lag. But it... Read more

But the computer itself is fast, easy on the eyes, responsive and lots of memory. For the money it was an excellent purchase. Very happy with it.
